Was planning on just using caliper paint, Clean the calipers properly with some white spirit and apply, Not sure whether thats the right way or not but thats what i've always done !

I've got mine yellow, I cleaned the calipers as part of a normal wash and then painted them with hammerite. Sod caliper paint, hammerite is cheaper and does exactly the same thing.

Although i dont think the green would go with your car, tbh if i had a silver car they would go either red, black or yellow to match the badges :y:

Did you use hammerite or caliper paint or other ..?

Did you use hammerite or caliper paint or other ..?

i used Foilatec Caliper Paint from Halfords.

Comes with a cleaner and the colour and then a hardner.

I just used a old aerosol top to mix it in, just put the amount of paint in you need and then a pea sized drop of hardner and mix up.

Do both sides at the same time, liek both front wheels then both back as with the hardner the paint goes very sticky quickly.

Was dry in 10mins though then i applied another coat, been on for about 3 months now, one wipe with a sponge and they look brand new again :)

To be honest, on 3 stud, my brakes are nothing to shout about :p

But seriously, those luminous ones look awesome. Reminds me of a guy on 106oc with glow-in-the-dark calipers, which sound tacky but are pretty cool to look at once you've charged them up.

i would paint my calipers but ive got vtr alloys on atm, and its not worth it as you can barely see them. need some multi spokes or vts alloys, to make it worth the while.

Just to through something into the mix, I was think about painting some interior panels in white, just to brake up the see of black so, What about doing the calipers white... ?

You know white would be an arse to make look good, every five minutes cleaning your brake callipers.

the old pot of hammerite will do (much cheaper)

mine are silver and they dont even look painted anymore. ther more of a dark grey. so if you had white they wont stay white for long at all
