Just thought I'd remind every1 that Day of Defeat: Source goes on-line tonight at approximately 11pm. I know there are a couple of people on here who play CS:Source so thought u guys n gals might be interested in this.

I've found some videos of DoD:Source and it looks awesome, check it out...

Kind of aye. U never played the original DoD? Its a domination style game. U have 5 flags to battle over. Its set in WW2 and u can either go Axis (Germans) or Allies (Americans/Brits). You choose different classes i.e sniper, support infantry etc.

Aye setting up the CS server again would be great.

I play TFC, played since 1999, quite sad actually, taking in to account i play about 3 clan games a week smileys/sad.gif i tried DoD when it was 1st released but i stopped playing after they made changes cos i didnt like it. Might have to have a look at it runnin on the HL2 engine tho... smileys/happy.gif

ive been on half life since it came out smileys/happy.gif on cs etc.. the first beta "won" servers.. oh the memories.. developed so much.. tho i think tfc has been ruined by the teleporters... and steam is just rubbish.. bring back 1.5 or even better 1.3

looks good matey! i played medal of honor allied assault and i loved it. just recently bought moh pacific assault but havent had the apportunity to play it! this new game looks awesome!

Just been playing it for the last hour and all I can say is...WOW! The pics and vids don't do the game justice, its absolutely awesome. If u have Steam then u need to play this!

U need to pay for it. When HL2 came out I pre-ordered it through steam on the "Silver" package which meant when DoD:Source was released I got it automatically. I think its sumthin like $20 to buy it now, but if u play on-line quite alot and u like the original DoD then u will love this.

Counterstrike was the best game 1.5 version without steam..... my old clan were beaut we got to 4th in a leaugue/ladder we entered smileys/smiley4.gif

U should be able to get DoD:S without having to buy HL2. It works out at roughly £11.30 and its definetly worth it.
