Theres a girl who I was in a serious relationship with until we both went travelling our seperate ways last month, it's a very awkward situation as we never really broke up, anyway, to cut a very long boring story short it's her birthday in two weeks.

I have no idea if I should even send her something but I'm limited to what I can send as I'm in N.Z and she's in Germany and will be moving around, therefore can't lug anything big or heavy around.. I was thinking just play it safe and have some flowers delivered to her address, some roses or something, mainly becuase it's easy and I'm really stumped for ideas.. You think girls actually like gettting roses, chocoltates and champagne really or is it all just a big con by the florists to make me spend all my dough?

Any other ideas? I wanted to send her an experience package bu don't know what country she's gonna be in when so that's kinda buggered..

send her a letter

something she can carry around and read, you never know what the flowers are going to look like, could be awful lol, also if shes travelling around she cant really do anything with them can she? waste of cash really as she would have to ditch them when she moved on.

could do something more personal

yeah i think sending a letter would be more sufficient, as said she would only ditch the flowers!

sending flowers has worked a treat for me in the past,
whether it be to there workplace or to their house.
works alot better than taking them myself

definately send flowers. they work best if they are unexpected and you haven't done anything wrong.

Many people perceive it as cliche, therefore not many people send them - therefore when they are sent nowadays it means alot to the person getting from the experience I've had anyway - good luck mate :)

Combine the flowers and the letter. Every girl likes having suprise flowers and, as said, the letter she can take with her. :y:
