Can anyone enlighten me? Its associated with CD players?

on newer cars like corsas etc you get a massive cd player where its like double the size of the normal one din player like a saxo etc. usually when you want to replace a 2 din cd player with a 1 din you have to buy a spacer to fill in the other din or ther will be a hole in the centre console

most imported jap cars have the 2 din or double din head units most good car audio shops will sell the right facia to make it into the normal size to take a upgraded head unit

just to clear that up..
1 din = standard size headunit..
2 din = same width but double the height headunit..

yep, you can buy the blanking covers from most car shops, iv not halfrauds sell them for like 8 odd quid

or in my eyes, perfect for a head unit and the DIN size graphic! lol
mind you it is a long time since i was into ICE in a big way so I am not 100% sure if you can get a DIN sized graphic anymore.
(i had a 1/4 DIN kenwood in my escort ashtray!)
