ive read the faq on this in the modifications part that simo has written about meshing the front lower grill, but when you cut the bumper (where your meshing) id have thought that you would have to sand/fill the part where you cut? is it me that thinks theres more to it or is this as easy as it sounds?

dont have any pics but this is what i did when i did mine
tools
dremmel drill or sumthing similar,
fiber glass and poly filler,
varying grades of sand paper from 120 - 500 i would not advise using anything rougher than 120 grit.
primer paint and laquer,
i know ive said dremmel drill but i used an air hack saw to do mine but not every one has access to a compresor and air line.
so to start i cut the vertical slats off as close to the bumper as possible. then for the horizonal one i did the same once this is done the whole centre peice off the bumper shuld come out
your then left with triangle type holes along the top and bottom of the ridge in the bumper and down the sides 1 big triangle type hole on either side.
i then gave the bumper a rub with 120 grit o rough the bumper up a bit on both sides of the holes to give the fiber glass something to stick to filled the holes with the fiber glass allowed to dry then rubbed down till flat.
you may need to repeat this a few times until the hole is filled properly.
once happy with the fiber glass i then filled over it with filler and rubbed that down in varying grades of sand paper from 120 to 320 once smooth i then smoothed with some 500 grit paper blew off dust then primed painted and laquered.
now for the mesh i used just normal halfaurd mesh and painted it white shaped it to the bumper and tiger sealed it to the bumper allow to dry fit bumper job done hope this helps just a quick one tohelp you out i didnt spray the bumper myself as it was brand new and the body kit was being profesionaly painted any way.
finished product
