OK, I am in the process of fitting an OMP cage into my sax, but am struggling slightly.
Its a 10 point bolt in cage, the older style (i think) that bolts to the rear arches, and the front and rear of the main floor pan. The problem seems to be that there are obstructions where the legs should sit, such as the fuel lines and various wiring. Also the front legs seem to catch on the fuse box/bonnet release lever.
Has anybody got any pics of the plates welded in place, so that I can see exactly where they should be located, and when needs moving/re-routing to make it fit? Any help is much appreciated.
Another problem is that the rear legs are too close together, and the diagonal bar wont connect. Any ideas how to push the legs apart?
Also, has anyone got a pic of there the front legs pass through the dash?
Any other useful tips as to fitting are greatly recieved. Or recommendations to companies/people that could fit it for me, preferably in the Yorkshire region. Thanks
