ok, don't want to take front bumper off tbh.
I jacked up the car cut some mesh down and moulded it round the lip and put tigerseal around the edge - ok all sounds good so far...
press it for 5 minites the glue went all over the mesh pretty much and did'nt stick firmly. It's good mesh etc but has any one got any tips / done it with out taking the bumper off? how hard is it to remove bumper etc???
Advice needed tbh :panic:
Thanks in advance

its easy to take the bumper off but you need to remove the front wheels and arch liners.
what glue did you use? tigerseal is always good.

just take the bumper off and tigerseal it , is the mesh cut resonably larger ? like a inch of so so theres enough area around for it to hold ?

best to take the bumper off mate theres a small torx screw upwards into the wing in each corner,a 10mm through the lower wing into the bumper on each corner,a 30mm torx upward throught the wingliner into the bumper two 10mm bolts under the bumper in the middle into the bottom crossmember, and off it comes iirc. or if you realy dont want to take the bumper off jack it up high put it on stands and work from underneath the car.

was cut with half an inch overlap all round.

i personally dont think it is hard for the amount of room under the car surely if you jacked it up then put the mesh on with the tigerseal and then wedge the mesh agaisnt the wheel or something on the floor with a small pecie of wood and leave it their to set for a couple of hours its probably not the right weather for it to set atm either might be why...

Its only 4 bolts to get the bumper off, not hard and hardly time consuming, i had both front wheels, calipers, front bumper, oil filter and headlights out on saturday in about half hour.
So for the time taken to get the bumper off i would do it and make a much better job of it.
