Hello, I've recently bought some VTR alloys, sanded them down so that they are smooth, primered them but here's the part im not sure about. I only used two coats of black paint on them, is this enough? Also I've used three coats of laquer on each alloy, what do you guys think? Is the paint going to come straight off? Beating myself up about it at the minute. Any advice would be great.

more laquer means better yes but will take longer to harden, dont be putting them on the car straight away, this weather a good 2 weeks will be needed for them to harden or else you run the risk of them being chipped very easily

if you can add some laquer and get em in the oven on a really low temp it gives a mint bodyshop finish and hardens them up lovely obv not everyone can fit a wheel in there oven though lol

I think you could get a VTR wheel in the oven, I've had 14" pizza's in there, just take the trays out so it's just one big chamber and see if it fits in. :)

the oven makes the laquer extra smooth and glossy so its a good idea if you can just remember on an extreemly low heat !my rockers came out better than my original paint on my car yesterday lol
