Run hot water tap, get hose pipe and stick it in a bucket (maybe two or three, just so that the end is in a bucket really), stick them next to a radiator in the bathroom/kitchen and leave it for abit, should unfreeze. ;)

Always a way. :y:

I never use a hose to wash my car, find a bucket or two works fine, or using a watering can to rinse off.

Go to a drive in one with a dude stood there with a power washer if you get me, not the mechanically ones.

Then you get the pleasure of sitting there thinking "Hahaha.. I could of been out there freezing my nuts off washing my car, but I've payed this little polish guy a 5er to do it for me"

Plus, if he smashes anything, you can get out and go sick.

I would rather wait until it gets slightly warmer and clean it myself tbh!! My dad took his old car to a car wash, it came out with swirl marks and scratches all over it :panic:

Can't believe people are saying use a car wash. They scratch the fuck out your paintwork! Just wait till tomorrow or unfreeze it. Wish i could wash mine, but im at work... Plus it's snowed here so it'd be pointless.

Now im piss** off to the max,

Went to go and use the Jetwash at my local garage 8 miles away, When i got there it was like a lorries day out, 6 lorrys waiting to use it + the lorry that was already using it, I thought stuff that...

So then i drove an extra 2 miles to a Texaco garage, Asked for the jetwash when she said "Sorry its out of order", That got me really riled up lol

So ive driven 16 miles in total, all for nothing, Well except a pack of fruit tella lol,

Somethings out to get me today:wall:

seriously, a few buckets and some balls to face a bit of cold and you will have a clean car and would have saved 16 miles :wall:

same happened to me this morning. i tried attaching our hose to the hot tap in the kitchen and running hot water through it but this worked for about a quater of it but then i got bored. so i coiled the hose up, filled the sink with hot water and put the hose in for like 5 mins, then just plugged it back in outside and left it running and it started off as a dribble, but after leaving it running 5 mins it was fine :y:

Same thing happened to me 2 days ago, i got a big bucket of hot water and pushed the hose pipe into it, only took 5 minutes and it defrosted the hose, only problem i had after that is after i hosed it down, went in to get some hot soapy water, i came out and my car looked like an ice berg where the water had frozen on it.

Tip for people with frozen hoses:

When you've finished with your hose, turn it off at the main tap. Once turned off, make sure the attachment is set to let water through. Now drain all of the water out by holding one section up at a time until you've gone from the end that was at the tap, to the attachment where the water comes out.

Repeat until no water is dripping out of either end, should take 5 mins max.

Your hose will never freeze again.

How do you people manage to not clean your cars? I take too much pride in my car for it to be dirty!! You all need to stop being nesh lol. Takes an hour at most to just give it a wash and leather it. Less than that if your cars silver or something easier than a dark colour.
