Ive broken my wrist so i cant work for another 4 1/2 weeks. Statutory sick pay is only £75.40 a week. How am i going to live!? Ideas anyone?

edit: im guessing its that much. thats the standard as far as i can tell. i deffo havnt got full pay though

I'm on SSP atm and mines about that per week. It is a bit of a kick in the nuts as i normally bring in £250 per week :( - sucks really, I've not a great deal of out goings but with xmas just gone, I've had to curb my spending to practically nothing.

Overtime for sure when i'm back!

if you have worked for your boss more than 6 months, they are obliged to give you sick pay, if not, claim of the government y0' add to the crisis.

Have you got your loan insured? If not call your lender and try and work out some kind of payment plan? Ebay unwanted items in the house....?
