hey guys, as some of you may know, all my audio stuff was nicked a while back. so the insurance are replacing it all on friday, but i dont want my 6x9's put back on my parcel shelf becuase that was obviously too tempting for theives etc.. similarily i dont want to pay £90 for a stealth shelf from halfords. so was wondering if you guys had any ideas as to where i could put them so they are hidden, i was alternatively thinking about building a stealth shelf under my current parcel shelf, not sure if this would muffle the sound loads tho? any ideas. cheers guys.

ditch the 6x9's and simply get good fronts and a sub
no need for 6x9's
you can screw down the sub to a false floor and noone can take it out in less than 5 minutes

well, if you gotta make a stealth shelf, then i would recommend you to make one out of 16mm MDF, with "acoustic" fiber stretched above it (screw the speakers from the boot side, so you cant see them from outside)
