just reasmebling my suspension and it seems the track rod ends did up half way now the nut is spinning the hole bolt:S and wont do up now??
cant clamp either end to stop bolt moving any ideas??

this happened on mine, i simly cleaned up the threads with a tap, then held the trackrod end tight against the strut and did the nut up, didnt seem to spin

They are a pain, theres a few tricks that should help.
1) wire brush the thread to get any loose dirt off
2) apply some copper grease to the thread so that the nut should turn on easily
3) the track rod end is tapered, the more pressure which is exerted down on the top piece the tighter it holds into place without spinning
4) use some form of leverage to add more pressure onto the trackrod end to keep itfrom spinning, a cro-bar or some form of g-clamp should help

get a pair of grips and someone else to hold the track rod down as tight as possible...
thats how i did mine

i managed it today did what willsy said i used a bench clamp and did it as tight as poss and it stayed a lil copper greased and it went on fine !!and finally finished my car back on the road 2moro cant wait :P
