had a problem with my vts the other day wer i had 2 change the altinator. after doin so i havnt bin able 2 get my speedo rev counter fule gage temp gage n oil gage 2 work. hav tryed fuses, all the cables, resetting ecu and the earths which all have failed. the time clock in the dash work's and the milage work's. any other ideas of wt it mite be?

Do lights work on the dash with indicators etc?

all the lights work that i no of atm. cudnt say if the oil and water temp ones work because i dont let the car gat that hot.

Are you 100% you wired up the alternator properly?
im sure theres a postive, a earth to the block and then a ++ wire that tells the ECU its charging or something.
Would recommend the search option or enquire to citreon.

yer there is 2 connections. 1 is a plug for the charging and the second is an earth. its goin 2 a garage on monday to be put on the computer to find out wt is it. will post wt the problem was wen i get the printout.

Yes there is to connections. one is a plug for the charging and the second is an earth. It's going to a garage on monday to be put on the computer to find out what the problem is. will post what the problem was when i get the printout.

Much better.
I don't think the print out will show an error.
I think it is down to an earthing point somewhere not returning the supply from the dashboard unit.
But thats a big guess.

I dont see how it has just happened threw changing the alternator thow. It has well confussed me and my mate.
