can someone tell me how to remove the rain gutters on my car and how does the aerial base come off. and is it easy to get the sunroof surround off? wanting to know for when its spring clean time. also my fuel gauge is not working.

its a 2000 vts btw

not sure about te other 2 mate but the areial base comes off by removing the interior light, and if you look up into the hole you will see a bolt thinks it's 8 or 10mm undo that give the base a wiggle and it should come off

although the fuel gauge problem could be the sender unit.
I think the sender unit is on the fuel pump on some models and sometime its a seperate unit, lift the rear seat and the two big grommets, thats where they are located

ok cool any more possibilitys on the fuel gauge and any ideas on the rain gutters

yeah there the ones, how do get them out and back in again. also can you get the sunroof surround off?

sunroof surround, i think it comes off from inside im not sure tbh, haynes may be handy for that though

the roof gutters are easy, open the boot and just pull them out very easy :y:

sunroof surround is held in by 12 torx bolts on the inside. Gotta tale the leadling out and pretty much everything bolted to the roof to get it out

As Pred says: Open the boot for easy access, get your finders under the end and just pull it out.

Theyre not helt in by any clips or anything. They just push back in when you're done
