brakes

having a problem fitting my xsara vts brakes i bought some caliper carriers off my local citroen dealer n the lad there said there was no difference in the brakes on the early n later models so i bought the carriers but the lad whos fitting them has started today n says they dont fit up right anyone know where i can get hold of some carriers that fit?

you have to grind a little bit off either the carriers or the struts to get them to fit

i know you have to grind them to fit i should have been more clearer they dont fit the actual caliper been to talk to the lad whos fitting them the daft bastard who works in the parts departments given me the wrong ones n also the wrong exhaust manifold gasket smileys/smiley7.gif

going to take them back on monday n go somewhere else to get my parts from now on

bang on simo the carriers wont bolt to the calipers properly you can get one bolt in but the other is miles out n the pads dont fit them either so he must of gave me the wrong carriers

no they are xsara calipers pads n discs n i went into citroen n ordered xsara carriers but they dont fit right to the calipers
