Fitted a new battery this week because I had to jump start my car like everyday with the old one. So last week I jump started my car from my dads van, I tried to turn on the heaters while the car was running, It started smoking underneath the bonnet just in front of the windscreen on the driver side. So now my heaters dont work and when I try to turn them on, the engine tone drops, and the cooling fan comes on every so often even if its like -3.

Just wondering if any has ever seen this problem, and how much to get its fixed or can it be done DIY?

Cheers.
