Removing Stickers

I took my stickers off the other weekend and on my windows are like a sticky outline of "www.saxperience.com" and i can't remove it. Tried allsorts of stuff, anyone had trouble removing this and how did you do it?!

my step dad worked for a taxi company and had stickers all over his car, i think he said he used petrol to get it off, dunno about windows though?!

tar remover or even a stanley blade, remove the blade and just use it obviously

just use white spirits. or nail varnish remover.
