Full on sound system problems

Hello guys i recently fitted 6x9s at the back by removing the back panels and removing hte link from the old back speakers so i could connect them to the 6x9s.

At the moment everything sounded brillinat standard front speakers and cd player and 6x9s kenwoods.

Now my dad gave me his sony 50wx4 cdplayer, and i tought well i might as well invest on sum front speakers, so i did that, bought some kenwoods for front.

Now i fitted everything myself front speakers and head unit. Then it made a funny noise on the back right corner 6x9, and i was like wtf is that.. its like a poping sound.

Now the car everytime i put central locking on it blew the 20 amp yellow fuse. I tought wtf so i started messing about with the connections on the speakers and eventually it stoped blowing fuses... so thats that sorted lol

Now i tought the poping sound was because the cd player was fucked, so i tested another one and did same, so it isnt the cd player.

But the sony cuts up when i play it too loud, it jumps when i go over bumps, and the poping sound is still there !!!!

Now people that have tried fitting sound systems on saxos now that the back connections have two outputs, (this is on a furio) but only one of the back outputs works (this is for both sides) i connected the 6x9s to the ones that worked (obviouslly right) but now on the right hand side where i have a poping sound both outputs work... and they didnt before...
I have been told it could be a bad connection, but everything is connected right (positive to big metal input, negative to the small connection bit of metal) they are all connected same way but its spill popin.

Im sorry this is a massive thing to read but its doing my head in, i refuse to pay someone to fix this lol, so if anyone has any ideas why both (right) outputs are working and why there is a poping sound, please do tell me !!!

DOnt tell me its a bad earth somewhere ive been told that loads, but i dont understand why it would be one, considering i didnt fuck about with any of the wire that was already in the car !

oh and i was fuckin about with sum little leds to see if there was too much power going to the right, and the right hand speakers if i put an led on them they work (this is the 6x9s) while the left ones dont ... weird ei, why would there be that electrical current there and not on the other side.

Another thing that intrigued me was that the locking system on the right hand side makes a funny noise when i central lock it (only everynow and again) but its like its stuck (but it closes everytime)

Could this central lockin system problem be effecting the speackers, are they all conected together?? because the noise on the central locking comes from the right hand side door, same place where the popin come from on the speakers......

I Just tought of that lol, could well be it..
and obvisoully i dont wanna be fuckin about with central lockin.. rather pay soemone to fix it...

Anyone good with electronics that may know if one system can effect the other???
(because they are all connected to the same AMP FUSE) i dont know... eheh

all i did when conecting me 6x9 was get a iso cable from halfords and cut that up so i could run new wires to the back 6x9s. aint had any problems like that. u might have a dodge wire with a split in it thats touching metel some where.

check all you wiring and connections, make sure it's all good

if you have a sony head unit youd be best to get an audio cable (phono lead)plug one end into the audio out in the back of the unit run it to your 6x9's cut the ends off and connect them up the quality of sound will be better and if your running them seperatly theres no way it could make the poping or interfear with the central locking

may sound stupid but also check the setup on the head unit to make sure that the fader settings etc are correct

lol u could stick a 12" record player in there as well if ya got space.

yeah the phono outputs are left and right sound thats all tho if running 2 6x9's youll need to fix the ends to run to both the speakers

oh and everyones loving their little in car dvd players i have a phono to headphone cable in my car that i can plug my laptop into and all the sound just plays thru the car with a 17" widescreen save yourselves money and do this instead also you can use the same cable to plug in mp3 players ipods etc etc

no i have my front door speakers running of the standard cables and my rear shelf running off the rear cables my sub running how subs run but thought if lilriksilva was getting interferance and cross connections best thing to do would be to seperate them and go straight from the head unit there is no problem in doing this

6x9 are ment to be run from an amp so the idea is that you run a cable from the head unit to the amp then to the 6x9's but for what lilriksilva wants im just cutting out the middle man ie the amp

6x9's ain't ment to be run through a amp it depends what head unit u have and the power it can kick out. i have mine runin from the head unit and they sound well nice. my head unit is a 4 x 60 with infinity 300 watt 6x9's. aint had ne problems runin them that way.

im not saying youd have a problem just that standard door speakers are 30 watt for a reason if you run 300 watt speakers it will use loads more power an amp will make it sound so much better and save you paying out for a new alternater when it gets f*cked youd use a amp to power a 400 watt sub wouldnt you so why not on 2 300watt 6x9's?

the phono speakers wouldnt power a speaker heance why they go through an amplifier, the signal is low and is AMPLIFIED.

And 6x9s suck ass across the board.

phono cables for speakers? as scott said the amp amplifies this and it would never be good enough to do the job!

if that was the case...why would they have normal speaker output leads PLUS RCA outputs/

Popping noises could be caused by amps but then again i dont see your system has an amp for them?

it sounds like a dodgy connection somewere in the electrics?

Where are the cables run in your car?

dont u just wire ya 6*9's onto the bits of wire on the adaptor to the head unit which is meant for rear speakers?

ive never had problems running 6x9s off a 4x45w head unit..maybe its what gavin said and a wire might be touching some metal thats a possibility

hi well you may have done this all ready , the sperakers that you fitted to the front, make sure that , the wires are not touching together , that makes the sound cut out at high level of volume , and all so that back of the of the stereo , the make sure no wires are bare , and for the head unit , alpine all the way for me any , i have had a sony head unit and all i had was trouble ,

i am getin 6x9 that are Peak Power: 300W
RMS Power: 100W can u run them of a head unit that is 4x50w or do you need to run them of an amp
