colour paint code??

I need to carry out a few minor 'repairs' smileys/smiley9.gif and need sum paint. Iv got the dark green saxo, the only green paint in halfords and the like for citreon is emerald green but im sure thats not right?! Any1 know what colour i need?

when i had my car resprayed there was a paint code or something under the bonnet

Dark green is usually Amazon Green.

The paint code is usually stamped onto the passenger side suspension strut.

For example, tha paint code for poseidon blue is KMH.
