omp half cage for everyday use. this is a common question and the usual answers are half cage or no cage. after all you wont be wearing a helmet and the cage bar will be soo close to your head it just become a ticking time bomb till you hit your head

Show cages are just a waste of weight if your running a stripped out car.

Saxo_89, what cage have you got in your car? I see alot of people put
like a padding around the front bars at top by your head! I relly want a 2nd
car thats all stripped can used for weekends and in summer, etc but just finding somewhere to put it!

its a bolt in cage and it is designed to still allow the rear seats to be fitted

cage is still by your head, your neck moves as can the shell if it crumples.
Like i say cages in road cars are not the best idea. Its why I have a road toy and a mad spec track toy

if you are thinking of a cage, you usually have your car stripped, so why look at the extra weight of 106 leathers.

another thing to think of about buckets and harnesses
if you dont have a cage and roll the car the roof will cave in
but you wont move out the way
roof+head=bad times

either way you roll a saxo its not a good out come. Also if you manage to roll a saxo on a public highway then 9 times out of 10 your being a dick so drive safe think safe

standard seats can collaprse as 2 piece in a roll
buckets dont...
you can move out of a seatbelt easily if needed, you cant harnesses

yer people get out of rolled saxos all the time but generally they arent strong and somebody has got to be looking out for you if you get out unhurt
