I'm doing the same, definately need spacers, I've worked out somewhere between 15 and 20mm, anybody have a better idea or actually done it??

The calipers bolt straight to the hub, shouldnt need any modifications to the actual caliper.
It takes a 16mm spacer to space VTS wheels far enough out from the hub. So you could compare the distance from yout brake disc to the back of a VTS wheel & then compare the same distnce with the 205 wheel then add or subtract the difference from 16mm.
I'd only use that figure as a rough one though 16mm is a really slim fit for VTS wheels so if it turns out your measurements suggest an 18mm spacer... Buy a 20mm and if there is lots of space have the spacer machined down a little, or buy smaller ones!
One other thing to look out for is the outside of the tyre catching the wing/arch clips & trim!

VTS wheel 20mm spaced comes out quite far!
