anybody into mtb? ive not rode in ages but im gona but a slacker 24 seven ss going to start again i herd there good light and durable apart from a sh*tty v brake on the back!!!! :y:

I used to do DJ, getting back into it this year hopefully, im in the process of building a bike, frame got delivered last week, 24seven superlight ;).

sweet man i also looked at an atomlab trail pimp but there 26 inch :n: lol slackers are awsome so im gona be getting back into it in about a month gota buy it and wait for delivery :)

Are the bikes next day delivery, i know my frame came the day after i placed the order, and i also ordered superfat cranks off of them yesterday and i think they've been delivered at home today. Yeah my superlights 24" aswell (Y).

I used to ride street, n urban freeride alot, few years ago though, havnt riden like that for years :(. Used to race 4x aswell :p

sweet man nice bike but im into single speed as mr draliers used to always get hung up in my spokes :wall: lol

get one of the NS completes mate. they are great bikes. I used to ride street and park on 24s but gave it up for BMX. are you on ridestreet?

ridestreet is the mtb street forum.
and i went bmx as all my mates rode it and it just seemed more convinient for riding park. and i rode mtb park/street then bmx park/street. havnt ridden in months though

sweet man im okay with bmx-mtb mix my mates are half and half lol and some of those NS bikes are nice and the spec shows there quite light too :y:

yes mate NS are really into street parts and frames so deffinetly a good starter. I think the street one is called the riot? but there may be a better model than that one

shweet just realised theyre 09 stuff is out already! last year it didnt come out till like april hahaa. any of there completes are a good buy mate. just depends what your budget is

i looked at the metropolitan (spelt wrong) lol and that looks swet and 14.6 kg i think it said so it seems light too but there wasnt a price on it my plan was to get the slacker ss and get rid of the v break as there crud lol

V brakes are fine iff theyre set up well mate. very popular with street riders as theyre lightwight, minimalistic annndd you shouldnt be using your brake that much anyway - thats why you see loads of people riding brakeless. like i do

Im really into DH but havnt been riding for a few months, recently sold my Specialized demo 8 to buy dannys saxo ;) fingers crossed haha So now im hijacking your thread :P so heres my past rides
My first bike a saracen jet then i got this cus the saracen was shit

haha nice rides man lol lots of full sus tho not a fan but as u like DH then spot on with the specialized and bomber forks on the trashed slacker :y:lol
roj the metropolis is like 649.99 that will have to wait till next bike but thanks dude for gettin the price for me :) lol

cannondale or scott imo :y:
probably the scott, as the componants are better, though the forks is letting it down, so you can upgrade the forks and have a good groupset aswell :y:

seriously mate i would deffinetly go for one of those NS' atomlabs arent really that great. those NS' are the perfect street mtb. they have so much potential aswell.

frames top tube is a bit wide though...
nothing compared to the sizes of ANY Orange frame haha...
Rolling on 26" halo's and stopping power of a Hope mono...

not a clue on the weight man but i herd the full set up on the site is like 16k but i dont know weight mesurmants man :(
