i am interested in changing my normal switches to the ones that look liek fighter piolet ones with the cover over them. i would just have them do the same functions as the original switch. its just for looks really, anyone got these?

these are mainly used for ignition mate. u pull up the tab and flick the switch to turn it on, then push down the tab to turn it off

I suppose you could use for them a lot of things. They just add a brake to the connection, so could be used with any other switch! Could use one to give power to CD player, Rear Heater, Amp, Lights maybe along with normal arm, hazard warnings. You just need to find out which wires connect to what in the loom!

Technically rather than adding that into the circuit you could take out the current switch and replace like you said. go to a scrap yard and get some of the blank plastic bits which go in next to the hazard switch etc, drill a hole and mount a toggle switch, then just chop the wires going into the current switch and solder them onto the toggle switch. that may work, but im not sure tbh. cos the hazard light switch is such a big unit it may be more complex than that.
Yuo could even get the switches with an LED in the end so they illuminate :y:

like the sound of it, it just gives the car more of a "race car" feel, and looks a lot more special, dont think i have seen anyone on her with this type of switch.
found these, not to keen on the LED, but its what you said nick.
