some shops ask for v5 document before cutting them, as anyone from car dealerships could get them cut and sell on the keys

I got quoted £35 since my key had chip in it from a normal key cutting shop.

Asked at Citroen in November the price of getting a key cut, due to the immobiliser it would cost £115 with the code for the immobiliser handed to them when I send the key... if they have to find the code themselves... £150. :err:

All the key cutters by me state that they cannot cut the key due to the immobiliser chip, but would charge just £30 for the key.
