Ino this isnt the tread to start this but need some help quickly, basicly everytime i put a new battery on my car it makes a wired buzzing noise seem to be coming from near the fan/power steering pump so everytime i leave my car parked with the battery connected it seems to drain the battery so have to keep taking the blumming thing of every time i leave the car parked otherwise it wont start, any idea what this could be and how i can stop it thanks? Seb

sounds like ur alternator noo worrkin to charge the battery

yer sounds like the alternator needs replacing mate.

anyway i can stop the problem at the min till i get it to a garage or will i have to just keep doing what iam? thanks

Not the alternator if it does it when the car isnt running.
Tried taking the fuse out for power steering and seeing if the noise stops??

ok mate will try that is the fuse in the engin bay or under the passenger footwell?
