last night i was pulling a plug out from the extension lead in my room.

next thing i know, feels like ive been smashed in the chest with a cannonball. nice electric shock there.

fuck it hurt

i was shaking for about 20 mins afterwards and was hurting when i breathed lol

what an idiot eh. fucking electrics

maybe i should have turned the plug off first :P

lmao bless iv done that a few times :(, once when i took my hifi apart, like 3 days after it had been turned off and i touched like the power suplie thing inside it and boom im shitting me sen and find my slef trying to pull my hand of this thing lol! and then iwas fixing the dyson hoover y( you had to woble the cable for it to work so i got the bolt croppers out to cut this cable to shorten it to put it back in and bang! went stright through me a hug like spark came off the cutters and cable, mums bfs sat ther laughin his head of at me im ther shaking lmao! forgot the turn it off dint i :P

whilst decorating the steamer got the plug damp, i went to turn it off and that gave me a poke, woried me a little being 8 months pregnant at the time, lol that hurt!

Been shocked a load of times in the past but never too serious. Best one I ever saw was when I worked for a team installing the chalets at Butlins. Was in a room with another guy fixing units to the wall and he drilled through a mains cable.

Blinding lightning flash, all the power went out and there was an explosion like a bomb. I was a bit dazed and it was early hours of the morning so the sun hadnt come up, so I couldnt see and obviously the power was off.

Everyone came running and other people had torches, I was sat next to the cupboard we were installing and this other guy was sat on his arse against the opposite wall where he had been thrown. Best bit was the drill melted and the metal of the drill bit was dripping down his work apron and sticking solid. Other than shock we were both fine. LUCKY!
