Agreed, will make alot of people think about doing the same thing if they ever should get a ticket like that!

and what would have happened if he was in a car that was capable of that speed?

how would he have proved it then?

i doubt he would have been able to which is the case for most people on the road.

the police are a joke sometimes. they should have to prove you were speeding, not the other way round!

Erm, I might be a bit of a retard here but I thought Speed Cameras used Radar to measure the speed of a vehicle and then took a photo.

Last time I checked, Radar was pretty accurate.

This was probably just a case of driving past a camera when a faster car over took.

you just answered your own question.

the speed reading may have been from a different car. therefore they should have to prove which car was speeding. there was 3 cars in the photo and they tried to prosecute the wrong person. hence why i said they should have to prove YOU were speeding.

either im not looking in the right place but parkers reckons his beauty should be doing 106mph @ new so it appears to of lost alot of speed somewhere even if age does lower top speed....

and why didnt his mate just lend him the car :|

cause he bought it back to give it a tamper and make sure the results came out deliberately low?

Just goes to show you can't trust coppers and should always contest any charges :)
