Common fault???

hi, i hav jst bought a 2000 reg saxo vts n wen the cars idling or in stop start traffic it sumtimes doesnt idle right and sumtimes it feels like its gunna cut out!!! is this anything to worry about or just a comman fault on saxos??? cheers

mine revs itself but it doesnt feel like its gunna stall.

normally only does it if ive been riding the clutch smileys/smiley9.gif

If it starts stalling go to garage!

My 1999 VTS doesn't idle very smoothly either. The revs drop on idle sometimes on mine too, especially if it's been used for shorter trips. I'm going to change my MAP sensor soon to see if that improves things. I will let you know if it works.
