came out of work tonight and there was a traffic jam so I thought I would do a U turn and go round the other way, but when I pulled off I did a little wheel spin, so I'm driving down the road and I see the blue lights so I decide to pull over to let him past but he stops behind me! he does the usual checks on my car and asks me why I got pulled by him so I replied because I did a wheel spin and a u turn??? he said correct and that he is going to do me for due care and attention!!!! :wall: but I already had a section 59 so he was going to make me do my test again and seize my car!!! :wall: but after scaring the shit out of me he let me off!!! :n: how lucky is this!!! lol
just thought I would share my experience! lol

they cant just seize your car. sounds like a bell end of a copper if you ask me. if your car is completly 100 percent legit like min just piss em off and wind em up and NEVER admit to speeding, wheel spining,etc..... always deny eveything as they have no actual proof of your offence

didnt you smash him one?

that would have been very hard to prove, you would have to take into account the road conditions / road markings if you went over any / did you cause any damage or alarm the public etc. they just wanted to shit you up.

agreed on the shitting you up part, i hate power tripping coppers. had one try confiscate my car because "he thought i was dealing drugs" no other reason at all. this was after a test of my tire tread on all 4 tires, license, insurance, tax and every single light on my car. most cops are just dicks tbh who enjoy power tripping

if you dont get arsey with them they normally let you off, the odd occassion i get waspy with them and give them lip but its best not to. they always make threats but if you think of it they cant actually do what they say but you dont realise it until its happened lol.

Most cops are on a power trip like-!
I went to macdonalds the last Thursday and I was sitting there eating my mcchicken sandwich when a copper comes over, gets out of his car and says
"what do you think you're doing, your not allowed on here"
I just looked up with a mouth full and said "er why? :S"
and he replies, " because there has been some antisocial behaviour in this area with people like you, in cars like that"
I couldnt beleive it, so i just said aye whatever, packed up my meal and went. lol.

same kind of thing happened to my mate the other night, he has a 59 and the copper said he was going to give him a 59 :S because his exhaust is a renault add on or something so its abit louder than standard, we were all very confused about how you could get 2x section 59s? it ended up with the coppers trying todo him for something they couldn't didnt check his car over or anything just felt like being arsey, tis a shame they're all like it round here and will do you for whatever they can even the times you haven't done anything wrong:n:

they are dishing section 59's out all the time for no reason just being cunts another money making scheme because it costs about £100 to get the car from the pound.

If you receive 2 section 59 offences within 12months they can I'm afraid.

Out of curiosity did you guys receive any paperwork when issued with your section 59?
On a note, not all police are like that, just a matter of them being on a good day or not.
I've had the most trouble with female police :(

pigs enough said. The thing is though if they were just doing their job why don't they go stop some real chavs instead of picking on people that have money to pay their fines

he must of been a panda car driver and not a traffic cop they usually bs all the time because they really cant convict you anyway for driving offences.

You make no sense.
1. How would he know the lad had money to pay the fine.
2. He pulled him over for wheel spinning which could well be classed as driving without due care and attention.

I see the world and put in what I would like out.
I write in words because I know people can read words.
So on this principle, if people are selfish enough to dislike those that are there to help - the police. I have no respect or sympathy when they complain their car is stolen and that the authorities can not be arsed to help them.

the reason there pullin people for nothin now is because there are too many cars off the road and there trying to get rid of them.. they dont do it for the money because they dont make alot off the fines.. i was picking my girfriend up from a night out at 1.30am and there was a copper with a speed camera gun trying to catch people out at half one in the morning!!!

Brilliant!:y::y:
There's two attitudes when talking to the police. One gets you penalty points, the other gets you a telling off and you are on your way.

See my friends received two of these and never received any paperwork both times.
Think it's a bit of scare mongering?

really depends on the fed that stops you. I got off lightly a few weeks ago.
I saw my mate on his push bike doing some training at about 9pm, so i stoped, and he wanted to get home quicker, so i gave him a tow, well he held onto my passenger door and i towed him at about 55mph through a 30mph, so imature. But a fed was following, and he stopped me, and he just laughed n had a joke about it.
"i assume u dont do this regulary?"
"i had to look twice, ive never seen that done before"
he let me off after a few check, said i seemed like a decent lad, so if your ok with them, theyre ok with you.

totally agree with that, ive been pulled loads of times for little things and never been done for anything, one of my mates got pulled a few months for having a rear light out on his bike, strarted calling the copper a tosser and all sorts, 10 minutes later the kid was walking home without his bike
