I think it is group 9 for the 1.3 rallye. only 8v but it made 100 brake. there was also a 1.6 which is group 11 not too sure I could be thinking of the XS model though

I'm debating quick silver of furio / west coast, but the 106s seem to keep their value westy modified vts wheels lowered induction kit 120k on clock £900 stock quicksilver 120k on clock £1400 really smart cars tho, the dashes look dated IMO :(

Nearest you'll get to a VTR is a Peugeot 106 S2 Rallye 1.6 8v ...

rallye will be abit higher on the insurance brilliant cars though, the quicksilvers are a nice car and would be my choice just for insurance

mk2 vtr engine looks identicle to a quiksilver lump if you take the citroen sticker of the rocker cover. No one would know the difference

rallye 1.6 8v is group 11 insurance
very hard to find in good condition at a cheap price though.. being a limited edition car and all
105bhp though, and 10% lighter than the gti
i would love one with a 16v conversion
iirc theres the only remaining 8v left hand drive black rallye which is UK registerd for sale on PH

I'd love a Rallye personally. Gorgeeous cars. But yea, the S2 1.6 8v is the closest to a VTR pal.
The black lhd Rallye your talking about belongs to a lad off Eu-Mania. He was thinking of going euro with it. I guess he probably decided it was too rare to do that.
