Basically I was wondering can you cancel your insurance at any time during your policy and if so would they charge you a cancellation fee? I was just thinking surely you must be able to because of people selling their cars etc. The other thing I want to know is can you edit your policy at any time e.g. add mum/dad as named drivers or move it from one car to another as I am thinking of buying one. I am with quinn-direct if that helps.
Thanks.

Yes if you cancel early there is a charge.
You can amend details etc throughout the course of the policy there may also be a charge for this but depending on what you change you could also get money off your premium.
If you sell the car but intend to buy a new car you can just put that car on the policy instead of cancelling.

You will pay a fee if you cancel policy mid-term.
Dont think you can change cover mid-term.
If you change your car, just ring them with new car's details, they cover you immediately (if thats what you want)
