Hi,

I put this thread up a few days a go

http://www.saxperience.com/forum/showthread.php?t=200340

and a member pm'd me saying he had these bolts, I paid the £25 and the bolts arrived this morning, turns out though that they are useless :wall:

pics,

http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h174/TDRAPER7/DSC00178.jpg

Only 8 bolts will actually fit, the rest are wrong, I've asked for a full refund but he'll only give me back the £15 as he paid £8 postage? I looked on the packet and it's actually £6.40 and apparently paypal took a £1.50 fee which I know they didnt as I sent the money as a gift.

here are the pm's

http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h174/TDRAPER7/pm3.jpg

http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h174/TDRAPER7/pm2.jpg

I'll give the member a chance to refund me fully and if he doesn't I have no problem with telling you all who not to buy from.

If you paid £25 including delivery, then the price is including fee's, packaging, posting! I say pressure him for your money, or post his user name. :D

Rob_Furio7

you should have asked to see a picture of the bolts before you payed £25. i certainly wouldnt hand over £25 when someone says a few words! id need proof they are real, and what i need

your right I should have, I did think buying from a member on here would be fine but that's my lesson learnt.

Thats bad, dude. If you still get no refund from him, expose him, so the rest of the forum members are aware.

the overall thread length looks ok from the pictures but some are not original items so do not have the tapered part.
I take it you dont have steel wheels and you want them all to be like the bottom ones
it would be ok if you had steelies, but alloys are a no no

Is anyone else trying to guess the username behind the black lines?

Starts with a J and ends in 206 or 306?

Better than the riddle game! ;)

Sutch
23rd January 2009, 12:18
I wouldnt mess around playing games of threatening to stick their username up, just do it. They sold a product knowingly incorrectly.

They will have known they were wrong, there didnt seem to be much reistance to the partial refund, its just as bas as taking your money and sending no product, as these bolts have shit all use to you.

Let others know who the user is and give them the chance then to judge whether they want to risk buying, espeically as the user is PM'ing to your initial thread rather than replying in it..

My GUESS Sorry if I'm wrong, this is a prediction, in no way factual, not held accountable, if innocent then sorry etcetc. (http://www.saxperience.com/forum/member.php?u=16460)

Edit2.. In one of his forsale threads "can supply bolts if required"

But, thats him I guess? :homme:;)

Mann.. I gotta get back to my revision...

The guy must be quaking in his boots..."Give me my £25 back or else i'll let sax-p users know your username."

On a serious note, he should refund the full £25, plus your postage costs.

To be fair all you need to do is buy some 5mm spacers for the rear wheels and use the longer bolts on those.

Problem solved, everyone's a winner baby

Sorry but I shouldnt have to buy anything to make use of these, besides the tapered bolts dont even fit, i'd litterally get one turn on the hub!

i think thats out of order altogether tbh. should be named and shamed imo. gives sellers on sax-p a bad name when 99% of people selling stuff on here would never do anything like that. i say full refund is the least he can do. what a scam!

tbh this deano kid has one of the highest iTrader scores on here.

£25. Should have got to eBay.

im looking for a set of these myself mate. go to peugeot or citroen and you can make sure you get the right ones, brand new, for £2.80 each. And only need a set of 12 if youve got locking nuts so its only about £35. so for a tenner more just save yourself some hassle!

lmfao you could have gone to a local scrappy get some bolts for your car then buy a set of locking nuts for like 20 quid? that would of been cheaper and you would have known what you was buying.....

Are bolts really that expencive? Think we have about 100 of te=he feckers around here

Ryan
24th January 2009, 11:56
id say the fact he refunded you the actual price of the bolts right away is fair.

espec as a few fit still.

you have 8 bolts for £8 then correct?

Ryan
24th January 2009, 12:00
The others will fit mate, just not sit flush.

tapered bolts in wheels designed for flat face ones is an easy way to trash the hubs dude.

ive seen flat faced bolts being used on steelies and the guy needed 4 hubs

I havent been refunded, he'll only give £15 back.

I can't be bothered with it anymore so i'll put it down to a bad experience.

Cirtroen want £2.80 a bolt, so that's £45, prob without vat too, so quite a lot for what they are.

yes he refunded you a large amount, read what I posted.

you have 8 bolts of use and they have cost what £8 now, where as 16 was costing £25? just get 8 from a scrappy or elsewhere and you wont have lost out at all.

Tom_d
24th January 2009, 12:43
He wants me to send the bolts back and then he'll send me £15, so i'll be £10 down with no bolts(£15 with postage), he wont refund without me sending them back.

shieldy
24th January 2009, 12:47
just dont send him the bolts back go to a scrappy tell them what you want, replace the bolts that you need somtimes the scrappy will just give you them for free, its not gona cost more than £2 each... and forget about the whole deal... just remember that not all saxpers are like that so dont hold a grudge...

Tom_d
24th January 2009, 12:48
yeah I won't, I can't get through to the guy so i'll just leave it and it can be a warning for any of you guys who were thinking of buying something from him in the future.

shieldy
24th January 2009, 12:51
where abouts are you from? got any scrappys near you? ul be suprized to what you can find in them... btw in the future make sure you ask for pictures, before you hand over any of your cash, :y:

Tom_d
24th January 2009, 12:53

its the odd chance you get one thats a tit, i mean i spend £250 on some ICE stuff from chavsaxo off here we met up before i baught them got to kno him as well, so i trusted him, the sound systems mint now lol, but what eva you do dont be put off with the forum its a good place to be at, i spend a lot of time on here with my spare time, even though i dont have a saxo anymore some of the members are friendley lol, and keep tryin to get your money back of this guy, its worth a try, better than no money at all i supoze,

666

i got mine the other day mate from citroen and there were £2.35 each. and new exactly what i was getting. So thats only £28 for 12 brand new bolts and then you just need locking nuts. so your going to save a huge amount going elsewhere anyway
