in all fairness hes not very very, cos he is a good player, no one can passlike him, no one can hit free kicks like him, and it he was that shit he wudnt b at real madrid!

i wudnt say hes world class, but hes a handy player, jus ppl expect too much from him and big him up to somethin he isnt

I cant be bothered supporting england, i will do once they get rid of that sven goran erickson prick, he's useless & well over paid, been talking about it with my mates tonight & they think either sam allardyce (sp), steve maclaren or sir bobby robson should take over as england manager

EDIT- they also said stuart pierce would do good, but he's still got to make a name for himself before he's up for the england job

Stuart pierce gets my vote, not really a fan of Sam Alladyce though. But i want the swede out now.

at least we can be happy that we are through that one good thing i spose, we just gotta hope that they can build on that and start scoring some goals!!

i agree with Tony i think Bobby Robson would be a good manager, we need someone who looks like they have some passion

as boring as the match was at least they still won, and thats all that matters really

Since sven came to england alot of us england fans have lost all faith in the england squad, its stupid how you can have a swede managing england, its like an american managing wales, i think bobby robson would be on the top of the list but he's getting quite old now & he mite not be up for the challenge of manaing england but iam pretty sure with his skills & experience he should be able to get england a lot lot further then sven could ever do, iam hoping this is svens last year as england manager

I can't believe how wrong you all are about David Beckham. I am by no means a Becks fan, but i watch a great deal of Spanish football and this season, he's been the best player i've seen. His form for Madrid is something of a shock to me as i believed he has got so far on his looks and marketability(real word?) etc, and perhaps he has but he's totally justifying £25m transfer fee for me.

England are a thorn in the side of the Premiership IMO, i've lost all interest in them as have many of my mates.
I'm more gutted Steven Gerrard is out for 3 weeks now because of that match.

Sorry for length, you're probably all bored by now.

hmm i wouldnt say that beckham is really over rated unless he tries to play in the centre, bciz people expect him to play like a centre midfielder.... he was at his best when he played on the right wing because he can cross and pass the ball like no other player, the things hes good at he is the best in the world at.

id also agree that crouch is a useless peice of s**t

big sam is my choice, bolton are crap and hes gettin the best outta his players

stevie mac (im boro fan) is not ready yet, infact no where near

stu pearce is also not ready at all

bobby robson is way too old

I can't believe all the people on Peter Crouch's back. Man English football fan's are really fickle. If he'd scored two or was 6ft 1 and not 6ft 7 and thin as a rake then people wouldn't be like that. He is a good player, you don't play for the European Champions if you're not.

bear_westy
9th October 2005, 21:31
Hes not a good player no ifs no buts.. he is 6ft 7 and gets outjumped by makalele in the chelsea game.. he wins so little % in the air that the fans were cheering when he finally did win one. Also he has no pace and this magic first touch that liverpoolsee, no one else has ever seen it tbh

I dont think Crouch deserves the stick people are giving him. He played an average game amidst a bad [Bteam[/b] performance.
