take it to a jet wash place as the salt off the roads is no good for your wheels or paintwork or get ya marrigolds on and wash it yerself lauraaaa

It will be fine to wash it, as long as its rinsed properly. But a good blast with a jet wash should get rid of most the salt.

Only a few quid to take it to a specialist car wash or a bit of DIY

take it to your nearest ARC will get all the salt off it for £3/£3.50 and will look tonnes better :y:

yeah, the arc places are a big no no, they dont care about your car. I would take it one of the smaller powerwash places, they rely on repeat buisness and do a good job most of the time. Just dont take a brush if they offer as this can scratch paint work or cause swirls! Just ask that they leave the foam on for a bit longer!

I'd never let anyone else wash my car unless they knew what they were doing an used the 'correct' methods.

After watching some polish guy drop his sponge onto gravel then pick it up to continue washing, he got swiftly told where to go :boxing:
