well its hard to explain lol, but its as if the bolt is loose which causes the damper to move, but im wonderin weather its becus the bush is shot. i tried to tighten it but its seriously tight as it would go. which makes me think perhaps theres surposed to be a sleeve which the bolt is surposed to go throught. really not sure but its really knocks over bumps and i rekon it will snap if i keep driving like it.

thanks

and yea i am talking about the bush which goes thru the actual damper. the bottom one

i have just taken mine off.

where the bolt goes through, it goes through a metal sleeve in side the rubber bush. Shouldnt be able to remove the metal sleeve however.

mmm does the sleeve go through the damper bush and the mount the bolt goes through or just one or the other?

well if it is the damper which is loose.... there should be a rubber bush in the end of the damper with a metal insert inside the bush ( hard to explain but hopefully you will get the idea ) if that metal insert is missing then that could explain why its loose....

The top should look like this, a rubber bush with a metal sleeve inside.

The bottom, which may be where yours are fitted wrong, have a slghtly different insert and one end sticks out further, that end should be where it meets the axle.
So if you have it with the other end facing the axle you will get play.
