For the last few mornings i have gone to start my car up and its been really lumpy on idle. It happened today so i put some revs on (held it upto about 3k for a few seconds) say 2/3 seconds after she fired up and the lumpy idle went away? Any ideas on what it could be, ICV?

Mines only recently started doing it, if i drive off as soon as i start it up it seems really sluggish for a few seconds but then is ok and revs and idles fine?

Mine was doing it regularly. I changed the spark plugs yesterday and it has completely cured it. Try it, you can get a good set of spark plugs for around a tenner, dead easy to change yourself.

yep, exactly the same thing. started it up in the morning, was a bit lumpy. gave it some revs and it was alright. When i took the old plugs out the space between the coor and electrode were a bit much i thought. I got a set of beru spark plugs for under a tenner and they have twin electrodes. runs much smoother now, and no rough idle.

Legend, thankyou very much. I'll have to get this sorted midweek then, is it a DIY jobby? As i'm pretty useless with cars tbh.
