Well we had to have our 12 year old dog put down last monday, and i was obviously very sad having grown up with her etc, but it was pretty obvious right away that house was empty without a dog around so we looked into fostering a day or two ago , so today we went to cheshire dogs home (near warrington) to have a look around, loads of dogs needing homes was actually pretty upsetting to be honest and not that nice walking round seeing them all, anyways we came home with this little madam...

She's a 4 year old staffy, her old owners used to treat her badly hit her and that and then said they couldnt cope with her? She's the friendlist dog going and hasnt a bad bone in her body, goes of on on like a nutter running round the house lol, also seems very intelligent, just hasnt been givin the chance. We have taught her to sit already just this afternoon, needs work on her recall though as she get distracted by smells.

Anyways, were keeping her now lol, cant give her back, So turns out fostering isnt for us because we would just end up with a house full or dogs we couldnt let go lol.

Anyone else foster dogs or anything?

Cheers guys.

Mitchell- we thought about a pup, like you say its nice to have your own dog from the start etc, but when you go to a place like that and see all them older dogs that need homes seems so harsh.

Theres a staffy puppy at the kennels that needs a home, just come in so needs to stay thier for a week, am hoping if he gets on with our new one i might take him aswell lol
