Hey all. I am currently insured on a provisional license with quinn-direct and it's costing me £59 a month TPFT. My test is on Thursday and I obviously have to inform them, any one know what the price increase will be or if any one has done this?

Replies appreciated.

Karl.

them not telling you is not a good sign...

it will go up without a doubt as you are more liable with driving on your own now...
good luck :y:

Ahh didn't expect it to go up that much! O well stick it out for a year and price should lower a reasonable amount. Thank you for your help guys:y:

Urm that pretty well off to be fair, double the price is only £118 a month.

My Saxo went from £1100 to £2500 with Quinn when I passed ...I changed to Churchill, £1300 fully comp and it went down when I got my 106 coz it was a bit cheaper than the Saxo :y: My mate just passed and reckoned Quinn quoted him £1200 fully comp on a 1.6 Escort, so I called them again to check how much my 106 would be ...wait for it ...£4736 ...yeah you read it right lol.

on my vtr with quinn it went from £1200 to £2800 when i passed roll on april when i get my no claims lol oh and i have never heard of your insurance not going up when you pass its absolute rubbish every insurance company will charge you more once you have passed because your out on your own and deemed a bigger risk than when you have an experienced driver next to you
