auto-trader is excellant and especially selling saxo's! people are always interested in saxo's as it is a nice car to have as a first one!
any nice furio saxo's in autotrader here in northern ireland usually sell within a day or two of the magazine going out.

I tried selling my VTR on Autotrader. I had a few enquiries, but nothing ever followed through. I also had about three or four emails from car scammers. They basically tell you that they want the car for a son's/daughter's birthday and they will pay more than the asking price for the car. They also say their agent will collect the car and ship it over to that person. They usually end the email by saying... "Love to your family / God be with you, etc..."
If you receive any of those emails, just delete them. You can find information of these fraudelent emails here...

I also received several calls from agencies wanting to help sell my car. Unforunately I did take one of them up on this offer and paid the £80. Since then, I have been told to write in to Watchdog as the agency who phoned me up have previously appeared on Watchdog.

All you have to remember is...
"If it's too good to be true, then it is"
Are you saying that VTR's go for a bit more than Furio's? Well in some ways... yes! But you have to remember that the Furio will appeal to the younger generation as the insurance is lower/cheaper and it already has the VT* kit. They are also very nippy for a 1.4. I did love mine when I had it.

Don't you mean that the VTR's are rarer if people can't get insured on them and are therefore going for the Furio? smileys/smiley5.gif
