hi i've had my saxo since oct, since then its had a new rad + fan switch (£200) Exhaust Back box (£50) it also needs driveshaft drivers side, probably a starter motor as it goes eeerrrrr when starting, no heater and thats what i know about oh and its done 137k. i'm in the dilemma of not being able to afford another at the moment or get all the work done right away the mot is due in aug. it runs pretty well touch wood and to be honest i do love it. is it worth doing the work (which i can't do myself hence £) hope and pray it gets to mot and then see? i would like to get the work done but is it really worth it?

admiting defeat sucks but sometimes its the only way m8, depends how much you like it compared to how much hastle its causing you, also is the car worth having all that money spent on it, your call m8

Its not worth it mate!
My Saxo has got 138k miles on the clock but i admit i do love the car!
However, if the car is causing that much hassle and bleeding you of that much money, u could be spending enough to get another car!!
If mine ever packed up or anything went wrong on it (depending on what it is) then i doubt i would get it fixed and i would save for another / a better - saxo beauty!
