Bumper Strips Removal

Just another query.

Im thinking of colour coding all of my bumper/side strips myself.

I was just wondering, is there any way that I could remove the black bumper and side strips off my Mk2 VTR without causing any damage?

The side stripes will just pop out, need to remove door cards on the interior side for access.
Then you just glue a penny or piece of metal behind the holes and fill in from the exterior side.

Make sure you use masking tape and then just paint to match your cars colour.

Easier option is to remove them, then colour code.
Be careful replacing them though as you make break the clips.
