Any1 rough ideas on New Gearbox and Driveshafts at a "local" garage, not a dealer.
if anyone knows a garage cheap in Northampton, that would be even better;)

If you get the parts I know a man coming down in a couple of weeks off this forum who'd probably fit it all for £100.
Box would be about £100 and then shafts, which I don't think are too pricey

if you could source the parts yourself second hand you'd save alot more even if you went with a local garage...

a garage i asked wont fit my own parts because "gaurentee"

Just looked at your car and saw bedford, recon he would come Rushden?
i dont have tools to do the job nor a garage so...

got my gearbox full recon'd with new seals and bearings and it feels like a brand new box. Guy that fitted my clutch after said he couldnt believe how good it was!
Cost me 250+vat. so about 285 i believe. That was in peterborough.
