headlights not working

went to go out in my car tonight and the lights are playing up, side lights, full beam and fogs work fine but dipped beam has totally stopped working

any ideas why this could be?

fuse gone... blubs gone... dodgy connectors... try taking out the connector and cleaning them and make sure there's no trapped wires etc.

changed fuse then bulbs and they worked!!!

thanks for the suggestions, will give them a go tommorow when i can see. i thought fuse straight away but surely they wouldn't put both sides on the same fuse? seems quite dangerous
