in a word, no. tbh it's a pretty simple diy job, but any bodyshop could do it and i'd be looking to pay £100-£150 for archwork.

Depends on the bodyshop, when i had my 17's I got a quote from my bodyshop of £250. I then sold the 17's and bought 16's instead.

i got quoted £200 to have my boot flushed which includes welding and painting, so i'd expect to pay less for arch work tbh.

can any bodyshop do arche mods?

it's just a case of trimming some plastic and in some cases modifying the inner arch so any decent bodyshop should be able to do it.

Is it for a VT-style arched saxo??
Mods are a bit more severe on the non-VT models... still think that price is ridiculous though!!

They are ridiculous as you could pay to be a premium member on here and be shown how to do it, so you can do it yourself LOL

I got my arches done at R-Tec when I had my saxo but if I was to do it again I would definately try doing it myself! It wasn't a lot that they done and chrged me the earth for it! Good service but way too expensive!

it seems like when a big company have a good reputation they do over charge for a lot of things!. theres a garage literaly 30secs from my house called 'ace-developments' and they quoted me 4oo quid to fit my springs and adjust the torsion bar!! i paid 160 in the end by a little local garage...... exploition or expertise indeed?!?

I am looking into this aswell. Xtreme in Harlow (not to far away from rtech) quoted me £150 so I could get a car full with my 17" wheels with a 60mm drop. I think I could possibly still get it cheaper.

Yer sure, it is Called Style and Grace, I will be honest in the fact I have seen him do some really good work on cars but then I have also seen some fairly dodgy work (Bodystyling anyway) I am taking mine there though. WHere abouts are you because he is around the Cambridge area. His mobile is 07976353496
