On January 22, 2009 a short single player demo was released where the player starts at interval 01 after the player's helicopter crashed before game play and the player must try to find his squad mates who were scattered around the city. The demo let the player engage with several Replica soldiers and included bullet time and the traditional scare-tactics from Alma. However the demo also included several new elements, ranging from movable cover to new weaponry and even a suit of "powered armor" the player can enter and use against enemy soldiers.


I got up to the point where you slow time.
And got crushed by a bus. Think its a quality game. Much scarier than Resident Evil 5.

Yes got crushed by the bus, i prefer it to resident evil, but im still unsure on the game.

i prefer it, FEAR 1 was the dogs bollocks. Although i dont like the evil marine men in this one, they look a bit queer :P

you should try dead space!! That is seriously disturbing. The first ten minutes or so had me change my underwear more than once.

TBH I didnt find DS that scary, even at 11pm with the lights off.

Anyway you can preorder FEAR 2 from Amazon for like 28 quid atm, due for release next Friday 13th.
