Is there a saxo VTR/VTS out there that is modded to the balls that has standard VTR wheels on it???
Was thinking of keeping my VTR wheels and just powder painting them!!!
What you think??
If anyone could do a photoshop that would be cool.
Thanks
Dan

Yer 2 tone is the "I cant afford a full spray job" but I still think it looks bad with the smaller standard wheels

In my opinion when people modify their car, they should choose a theme and stick to it (give or take a little).
I don't see any point in somebody say for example going Euro, but then wacking a set of 17's on it.
Likewise if somebody was going Jap, then you wouldn't expect to see some 15's on it.
As a few people have already said. It looks like that person has ran out of money when they came to the wheels. But many people start off with wheels so why you would choose a bodykit and then some wheels... I don't know.

yup i agree damo, if your going for a big body kit then you need big rims, but if you want subtle smooth euro then only 14's and 15's will do, if you go rally slag then small wheels also unless you go for a tarmac rally slag you then need some 17" speedlines
but deffo dont keep the standrd vtr wheels it would look smileys/smiley11.gif

Powdercoated wouldn't make a difference as they would still look out of place due to their size. And no you don't get VTR wheels in 16/17s

see they just look way to small on a kitted car

They just look too small with the kit etc. They'll look good with it being slammed and having a few subtle mods but not a kit.

17's can still be euro, a lot of mark2 euro golfs roll around on them.
But i agree - dont leave the vtr rims on if your kitting your car,itl look fucking stupid.
Could see the point if you were doing just engine mods...as smaller wheels are better for acceleration etc but im guessing that aint gonna happen!

Excuse me, but my saxo will eventually have that two tone colour, & mine will have the standard vtr rims till i need a set of new tyres & will then get some new rims, two tone saxo's arnt so popular so you will get noticed more, its nothing to do with *I cant afford a full spray job*

If you are going toget a 2 tone jobby then use 2 different colours that are not your original or a standard sax ocolour. Otherwise I am afraid it does kinda look like you oculd afford to pay for a fully job. I wasnt saying you cant afford one, it just looks like a half assed attempt.

See again that would be so much nicer with some descent size wheels on it to match the kit.
