Right have put this off for a while now cos of vairous things but now i finally have some cash to spend on a gd set of comps and possibly an amp.
I got about £100-150 to spend on the comps alone, i was thinking of some infinity kappa 50.5 (13cm comps) for the front, but what i was wondering is do you reckon they'res anything better out there for the moeny and would they need an amp? and Can anybody recommend a good one to power them?
Cheers

if you have a decent headunit mate then you dont need an amp to power them. i have got a set of mb quart front components and they sound amazing.
have a look on www.caraudiodirect.com or www.bassjunkies.co.uk as they have good deals

obviously like scott said amp'ed would be better but to be honest i cant see the point in spending an extra £100. as my install is more than adequate and i would rather pocket the cash for something else, just get decent quality components and it will sound fine. wouldnt think that many people on here have amps on there components smileys/smiley5.gif

MB Quart comps (http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/1435.html)
or
Infinity Kappa (http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/1250.html)
What do ya reckon would be best, running off just the head unit (for the moment) or can anyone suggest any othersi should be looking at? smileys/smiley9.gif
