Maybe your IP address has been banned.. and not yourself.

This can be a problem, if you are using a dynamic IP address??

Figure of speech - nobody likes "the competition" advertising on their own doorstep.

Most people on SSC have other sites advertised in the sigs, and Simo was a SSC official (I think) so they won't have a problem with you putting Sax-P in your sig. Theres also a thread about Sax-P in the links exchange section that has been around since 2003.
