Can anyone tell me how to lower the rear axel of my westcoast?? is it a hard job??

bricks in the boot is easiest, if not try this http://www.badgermotorsport.co.uk/lowering.htm
although if you have to ask i think you'll struggle on your own

i did my rear axle on my vts turbo and used the above link
its a peice of piss hardest bit is releasing the bolts if there seized.

Yeh to get the torsion bars out you might need to get some heat on them or infact a very large hammer + socket + bang hard + alot of effort + maybe some crying = torsion bars out.

Well indeed, which is why this weekend we are doing my mates X reg vtr hahahaha.
Doing it in a garage at my mates house with two double doors and 2 portable fan heaters to boot!
