Hey was wondering if you could help after a new aerial as quite frankly the size of the standard aerial is abit ridiculous, so what one do you suggest instead that will still gain full signal and isnt chavy ?

Cheers all :y:

I dont like bee sting areals think they are too small. Get one from a 206. Same as a saxo one but just about half the size and no change in radio.

i pulled the little plastic end of mine, cut the ariel in half, sanded and smoothed the end of it because it frays a bit, then heated the plastic end up and pushed it back onto the now shorter ariel. looks factory and costs nothing

i cut mine in half took 2 minuites and then drilled the ball on the end out abit to fit on the bigger diamiter halfway down is easy and looks better than a 206 arial in my opinion

the 206 one is only £4.50 compared to them £15 awful ones you get from Halfords.. Bit of a bargain tbh.

i removed the hole thing even the mount and installed a vauxhall corsa mount with a bee sting only took about 30mins took some modifacation to get it in thou had to drill the hole in the roof out bigger and mod the wiring to get it connected but sounds exactly the same no difference
